Hoda El Enbaby
Independent Researcher and PhD student, Health Economics and Policy, Lancaster University
Hoda El-Enbaby is currently an independent researcher and a final year PhD student in Health Economics and Policy at Lancaster University. Her doctoral work contributes to the growing evidence base on the economic evaluation of policy interventions, exploring the intersection of social protection and health systems. Prior to starting her PhD, she was a research associate at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) Egypt office. Before joining IFPRI, Hoda was a Researcher at the Economic Research Forum (ERF), and earlier an Economist at one of the largest investment banks in Egypt. She holds a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the American University in Cairo (AUC). Hoda's research interests include health, gender, labor and development economics.
