Dina Elshahawany

Associate Professor, Faculty of Commerce, Zagazig University

Dina Nabil Elshahawany is an associate professor at the economics department at the faculty of commerce, Zagazig University. Previously, she was also an urban development and transportation projects expert at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. She had her PhD under a scientific channel system between Zagazig University, Egypt, and Rutgers University, USA. Her research focuses on regional science, transportation infrastructure and economic development. She has experience in economic impacts evaluation of transportation projects, regional data analysis, Geographical Information system (GIS), road network analysis and Computable General Equilibrium application. Recently, she received the 2025 Zagazig University scientific publishing award.
