Yusra Alkasasbeh

Yusra Alkasasbeh is a newly minted Economics PhD graduate. Her main areas of interest are growth and development, applied microeconomics, inequality of opportunity, labor market discrimination and education inequality. She received her MA and PhD from the Department of Economics at Howard University in Washington, DC. Before starting her PhD, she received her master’s in finance and banking from the Institute of Banking studies in Amman, Jordan. Currently, she is an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University, Arlington VA, teaching Computational Statistics for public policy master's students.
