Yasmine Abdelfattah is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Statistics at the University of Prince Edward Island, Cairo Campus, and an adjunct Professor at American University in Cairo and Cairo University in Egypt. Her research focuses on climate economics and development, particularly the socio-economic impacts of climate change in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East region. I have published articles in the Journal of Development Economics, Economic Modeling, and Applied Economics among other Economics journals. Abdelfattah holds a doctorate in Statistics from Cairo University.
