Sumin Chun is an economist (ETC) in the Office of the Chief Economist for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan at the World Bank. Before joining the World Bank in 2024, she held a position as Associate at A2F Consulting. She obtained a PhD in Economics at Duke University and a MA in Economics from Yonsei University. Her research interests include topics in empirical macroeconomics such as the implications of labor market concentration for wage setting and employer productivity.
