Senior Economist, Ministry of Finance in Egypt (Macro-Fiscal Policy Unit)
Experienced economist, with special interest in macroeconomics, financial markets, economic development and growth. I have over 9 years of experience in economic policy and quantitative economic research. I currently work as a Senior Economist at the Macro-Fiscal policy unit of the Ministry of Finance in Egypt. I also have a 4-year experience as an economic research analyst at the World Bank’s Macroeconomics and Growth Research Group in Washington DC. Moreover, I have a 4-year experience as a teaching and research assistant in economics at the academic level. I am especially well-trained and proficient in conducting macroeconomic policy analysis as well as quantitative and advanced econometric analysis using Stata and R. My experience includes analyzing large cross-sectional and panel data sets, in addition to producing quality reports, academic research papers, and policy briefs.
