Muhammad Salar Khan is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). As an interdisciplinary scholar in science and technology policy, his research focuses on AI ethics and policy, public interest technology, and the interaction between innovation and macroeconomic development in developing economies. Before joining RIT, Khan worked for George Mason University, the World Bank, and the British Council, among other organizations.
