Dr. Mesbah Sharaf is a full-time professor in the Department of Economics at University of Alberta, Canada. His research focuses on topics related to Development Economics, Economic Policies, Health and Population Economics, and Applied Econometrics. He received his PhD in Economics from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Dr. Sharaf has over 50 published articles in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals. Dr. Sharaf also participated in the preparation of several reports conducted by regional and international organizations such as the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the Economic Research Forum. Dr. Sharaf currently serves in the Editorial board of several international journals such as Sustainability (MDPI), and Journal of Business and Socio-economic Development (Emerald Publishing).
