Alemayehu Geda, Professor of Macroeconomics and International Economics in the Department of Economics at Addis Ababa University. He is also a Research. Associate at the University of London, SOAS, where he served as Senior Lecturer between 2003 and 2005. He is also a fellow of the prestigious Ethiopian Academy of Science. He has widely published over 60 articles and chapters in books and 6 books on Ethiopian and African economies in reputable journals and publishers. He has advised and conducted research for a dozen of African countries and several international organizations.
