Amr Khafagy

Senior Lecturer in Finance, London Metropolitan University

Amr Khafagy is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at London Metropolitan University. His work examines the impact of subsidies and external finance on agricultural productivity, resilience in agri-food systems, the impact of finance on SME growth, and the economics of financial cooperatives. He is the author of The Economics of Financial Cooperatives (Routledge, 2020) and has published articles in leading agricultural economics journals, as well as contributed to policy reports for the Food and Agriculture Organization and the European Commission.
