Sara Alnashar
Economist, The World Bank Group
Sara Alnashar is a macroeconomist by training, by profession and by choice! She is the Egypt Economist in the World Bank’s Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice in Cairo, Egypt. She has authored journal articles, working papers and reports on different topics, including international financial integration, monetary autonomy, fiscal multipliers, public debt as well as labor productivity and economic transformation. Sara obtained her MA in Policy Economics from Williams College while she was a Fulbright scholar in the United States of America. She also holds an MSc in Economics as well as a PhD in Economics from Cairo University, Egypt.
