Does Non-Renewable Energy Utilization in Egypt Generate Net Gain or Net Loss?

This study evaluates the sustainability of Egypt’s main energy sources. To this effect, it estimated the current value of oil and natural gas reserves, predicted their future revenues, and calculated the net present value of Egypt’s wealth. The results suggest that accelerating the rate of extraction of oil and natural gas and Egypt’s wealth are negatively correlated.
