Yeliz Yalcin
Professor of Econometrics, Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University
Prof. Dr. Yeliz Yalcin is a Professor in the Department of Econometrics, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University. She received her bachelor's degree in Statistics from Gazi University, her master's degrees in Statistics from Ankara University and Econometrics from Gazi University, and her Ph.D. in Econometrics from Gazi University. She began her academic career as a research assistant at Gazi University in 2000 and became a full professor in 2018. She has been a postdoctoral researcher and visiting scholar at Valdosta State University, USA, and has taught as a visiting academic at the University of Calabria, Italy, and the University of Orléans, France, through the Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program. She currently serves as a board member of the Recognition and Equivalency Services Department at the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Her research focuses on time series analysis, monetary policy, financial volatility, and spatial econometrics, with numerous publications in these areas.
