Vishal Jamkar

Vishal Jamkar is currently pursuing PhD in Public Affairs from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota, USA. His research interests include policy analysis of development programs in the Global South. A graduate of Chemical Engineering from India, Vishal has over 15 years of experience working with corporate and nonprofit sectors in India. During this time, he led projects in economic development and social justice in remote and conflict-ridden areas of rural India. Amongst various responsibilities, he worked as a National Resource Person for the Government of India on land-based livelihood interventions. In free time, he enjoys watching movies, cooking, and traveling.
