Unay Tamgac Tezcan

Unay Tamgac Tezcan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. Her research focuses on applied topics in international economics, specifically currency crisis, exchange rate regimes and capital flows. She has also been working with the Turkish Household Budget Survey Data. Her most recent work is on analyzing the consumption behavior among Turkish households and peer effects. She received her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of California Santa Cruz. She holds an MBA from Middle East Technical University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey.
