Dr. Tarik Akin is a research specialist at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Turkey. Dr. Akin earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Bilkent University, master’s degree in international development from Harvard University and PhD. degree in Islamic finance from INCEIF. His main areas of research are risk-sharing finance, and economics of inequality.
