Siham Matallah
Associate Professor, Department of Economics, University of Oran 2
Siham Matallah is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Oran 2 in Algeria and a Research Associate at the Economic Research Forum; she received her M.A and PhD in economics from the University of Tlemcen in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Her main research interests are institutional economics, development economics, and theoretical and applied econometrics. She has authored many peer-reviewed articles and has participated in a good number of international conferences and workshops organized by (ERF, UN-ESCWA, Chatham House and The Hillary Clinton Center for Women’s Empowerment). She won the Global Development Network (GDN) Essay Competition in 2015.
