Seda Ekmen Özçelik

Seda Ekmen Özçelik completed her undergraduate studies in Economics at Hacettepe University. She worked as a research assistant in the Department of Economics at Middle East Technical University between 2001 and 2012, during which she also completed her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees. Her doctoral research focused on Turkey’s export competitiveness in the European Union market. Since 2013, she has been a faculty member in the Department of International Trade and Business at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Her research interests include international trade, economic development, and environmental economics, with additional work on financialization, labor productivity, and sustainable development. Alongside her academic research, she has contributed to national and international policy projects addressing social cohesion, gender equality, and socio-economic inequalities.
