Sami Mensi
Professor of Economics, ESCT Business School, University of Manouba
Sami Mensi is a Professor of Economics at ESCT Business School – University of Manouba, where he currently serves as Head of the Economics Department and Regional Delegate of the CEDIMES Manouba Institute. He is Chairman of the Committee of the Master of Research in Banking, Finance, and Strategy and a member of the research laboratory “Economics and Business Strategies” (ECSTRA, LR11ES21 – IHEC Carthage). Professor Mensi has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and is a referee for several indexed journals. His areas of expertise include banking strategies, financial intermediation, Islamic finance, banking market structures, banking efficiency, monetary policy, governance, economic policy uncertainty, and energy consumption. In addition to his academic work, he has served as a consultant for several local and international organizations, contributing his expertise to various policy and development projects. He is also an active research fellow at the Economic Research Forum (ERF), where he collaborates on regional economic studies and policy-oriented research.
