Rehab R. Esily is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Commerce, Damietta University, Egypt, and a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Technology, China. Dr. Rehab holds a master's degree from the Faculty of Commerce, Mansoura University, Egypt, and a PhD from the School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Technology, China. As an energy economist and academic with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Rehab has taught many courses, conducted scientific research, and engaged in academic writing. She has authored/co-authored more than 20 research papers, review articles, and book chapters in reputable peer-reviewed journals (SCI, SCCI) and collaborated with the Egyptian Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) on the socioeconomic impacts of energy transition, focusing on renewable energy, hydrogen, and climate change. Dr. Rehab has led major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation while participating as an economic expert in several collaborative projects.
