Pinar Tat is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics, at Gebze Technical University, Turkey. She was a visiting post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Economics, at Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium for the 2022-2023 academic year. She received her Ph.D. degree in 2022 from Gebze Technical University. She received her B.Sc. (2017) and M.Sc. (2014) in Economics from the Middle East Technical University. Her main research interests include international trade, global value chains (GVCs), trade policies, and labor economics.
