Oznur Ozdamar is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Izmir University of Bakırçay. She served as a Head of the Department of Econometrics in the Faculty of Economics at Adnan Menderes University (ADU). She earned a research fellowship from the Italian Ministry of Education for her Ph.D. studies at the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies in Lucca, Italy. During her Ph.D. degree, she was a Research Fellow at Northwestern University in the USA. In 2014-2015 she was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Bologna University, Department of Economics working on the impact of air pollution and social expenditures on health and well-being outcomes in Turkey and Europe. She earned a research fellowship under the 3501 Career Development Program funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). During this program she evaluated the impact of labour policies and social welfare programmes on labour, health and living standard outcomes. Her research interests include economics of health, environment, labour, gender and the evaluation of social welfare policies.
