Oznur Ozdamar

Oznur Ozdamar

Full Professor of Economics, Izmir University of Bakırçay

Oznur Ozdamar is a Full Professor of Economics at the Izmir University of Bakırçay. She previously served as a Head of the Department of Econometrics in the Faculty of Economics at Adnan Menderes University (ADU). She earned a research fellowship from the Italian Ministry of Education for her Ph.D. studies at the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies in Lucca, Italy. During her Ph.D. degree, she was a Research Fellow at Northwestern University in the USA. In 2014-2015 she was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Bologna University, Department of Economics. She earned a research fellowship under the 3501 Career Development Program and 1001 The Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). In these projects she has evaluated the impact of public welfare policies on labour, health and welfare outcomes. She is also lead researcher of her institution in the 5-years HORIZON Project called “Promoting Positive Mental and Physical Health at Work in a Changing Environment: A Multi-level Approach”. Her research interests include economics of health, labour, gender and the evaluation of public welfare policies.
