Omneya Abdelsalam

Professor, Durham University

Omneya is a professor at Durham University and the Founding Director of the Ethical Finance, Accountability and Governance research Centre. Before joining Durham University Business School in June 2014, she previously worked at the Universities of Aston and Heriot-Watt (UK). Her research covers the intersection between ethics, governance and accountability of firms as well as contribution to Sustainable Development. Omneya publishes her research in top Academic journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, British Accounting Review, Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organisation, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Financial Services Research, Journal of Financial Stability etc. She serves as an associate editor in Sustainability Accounting Management and Policy Journal. She also serves as a subject editor in both the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money and Emerging Markets Review.
