Omar Odeh
Independent Researcher
Omar Odeh obtained his Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in Advanced Quantitative Techniques from the University of Granada in 2021. He is currently an entrepreneur and an independent researcher. His primary research interests focus on labor and socioeconomic development, with specific attention to wage and income gaps, life satisfaction, inequality perceptions, and education. He has experience working with both micro and macroeconomic data sets, having co-authored a number of papers focused on income inequality, trade openness and life satisfaction in the journals Societies and Economics. His current research project involves investigating differences in wage premia for domestic and foreign higher education degrees, using multiple years of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics labour force survey data.
