Dr. Nur Arafeh is a Fellow at the Malcolm H. Kerr Carnegie Middle East Center, where she co-founded and co-leads a program on the political economy of the Middle East and North Africa. She leads multi-year research initiatives and policy engagements on post-war reconstruction, economic diversification, debt crises, and food systems, with a particular focus on fragile and conflict-affected settings. She holds a DPhil in International Development from the University of Oxford (as a Rhodes Scholar), an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a dual BA in Political Science and Economics from Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University.
