Nadeen Emadeldin Omar is an assistant lecturer and is currently (2022) enrolled in the Economics Ph.D. program at the German University in Cairo (GUC), Egypt. Nadeen graduated with her B.Sc. from the GUC in 2018, majoring in Economics and Finance with the highest honors. She resumed her post-grad studies in the same year. In 2020, she earned her M.Sc. in Economics for the thesis titled "The Effects of Monetary Policy on Income Inequality and Economic Uncertainty." Her research interests are mainly: Macroeconomics, Monetary policy, and Economic Development. As part of her Ph.D. thesis, she investigates the effectiveness of Monetary policy under different assumptions and in multiple contexts. The current work in progress is on the asymmetric effects of monetary policy.
