Muhsin Kar

Muhsin Kar is a professor of macroeconomics at the Department of Economics in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University and appointed as a rector/president of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University since 2017 in Turkey. He has been a research associate at ERF since 2007. His current research focuses on the linkages between financial and real sectors in Turkey and in the MENA, economic growth, Turkish economy and economic integration. He holds a PhD in Economics from Loughborough University and an MA in Economic Development from Leicester University in the UK. He has got a BA in economics from Ankara University in Turkey.
