Mounir Mahmalat
Economist and FCV Country Coordinator for Central Africa, The World Bank
Dr. Mounir Mahmalat is a country coordinator in the Fragility, Conflict and Violence Group of the World Bank. His research focuses on the political economy of reform, conflict, and development. His previous experiences include positions at the United Nation’s Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN ESCWA) and think tanks, notably The Policy Initaitive. He was a research fellow at the American University of Beirut and Harvard University and holds a PhD in Political Economy from Dublin City University.
