Moez Labidi

Senior Advisor to the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait, and a Professor of Economics at the University of Monastir, Tunisia

Moez Labidi is a Professor of Economics and a Senior Adviser to the Arab planning Institute. He obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (France). Before joining API, he held the position of Professor of Economics at the University of Monastir (Tunisia). He has held several senior positions in several institutions: Member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Tunisia; Member of the Council of Economic Analysis; Advisor to the Financial Minister of Finances; the Economic Advisor to President of the Tunisian Government. His main research interests are Monetary policy, Debt sustainability, Macroprudential policy, Climate change and Macroeconomic implications.
