Hanan Nazier

Professor, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University

Hanan Nazier is a professor at the Economics Department, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She holds the position of the Head of the Labour Market Policies Unit at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development since September 2020. She is also the advisor to the National wage council. She received her Ph.D. in Economics, in November 2009 at Cairo University. Her field of expertise is applied micro-econometrics, on gender and labor issues in Egypt and developing countries in general.
