Donia Smaali Bouhlila is an Associate Professor at University of Tunis El Manar, Faculté des Sciences Economiques et de Gestion de Tunis. She holds a Ph.D in development economics. She is an associate editor of International Journal of Educational Development and a member of the editorial and advisory board of Gulf Education and Social Policy Review, Journal of Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research. She is a researcher at Laboratoire Prospective et Stratégies de développement durable, at University of Tunis El Manar. She has published several papers in different academic journals. Her areas of interest are: quality of education, inequality in education, child labor, gender based violence, migration and poverty.
