Daniel Mirza

Daniel Mirza holds a PhD from the University of Paris I. He is a Professor at the University of Tours, a research associate at CEPII, at Globalization and Economic Policy (Nottingham, UK), and at CEPREMAP Association (Paris). As researcher at the Orléans Economics Laboratory, he co-led one of its teams (International Economics and Sustainable Development) between 2015 and 2024. He specializes in issues related to international trade in goods and services, as well as globalization and conflict, with many publications in significantly cited peer-reviewed scientific journals, in particular: Journal of Economic Geography, European Economic Review, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Canadian Journal of Economics or Journal of Comparative Economics . He has served as a consultant and scientific coordinator for several projects related to international trade on behalf of various ministries and national and international organizations such as the OECD and the World Bank.
