I am Associate Professor and Researcher in Development Economics at University Paris East Créteil (UPEC)/ Department of Economics since 2002. I am the director of the “international economic studies” Master at UPEC. I am regular visiting professor in several Universities.
I have worked both with quantitative and qualitative data, analysing governance and labour market development (including migrations), informal economy and poverty in EU, MENA, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Since 1994, I have policy advice expertise in development and transition economies. I worked as a consultant for the ILO and UNDP. My policy advice record includes economic analysis of public institutions such as pension fund, health care fund, employment agency several countries.
I advice government policies and interact at the highest levels in five languages.
