Antoine Castet

Antoine Castet is a postdoctoral researcher at AgroParisTech within the Centre for International Research on Environment and Development (CIRED). His CLAND-funded position, supervised by Thierry Brunelle, focuses on maize intensification in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa. He defended his PhD in economics at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University in July 2025 under the supervision of Alain Desdoigts. From 2023 to 2025, he was a teaching fellow (ATER) in the Department of Economics at Sciences Po Paris. His research interests include development economics and agricultural economics.
