Alessia Lo Turco

Alessia Lo Turco is Professor of Economics at Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy. She received a Ph.D. in Economics (Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy), and a M.Sc. in Economics (University of Warwick, UK). She worked as external collaborator of the OECD Research Project on "Trade by Enterprise Characteristics and Global Value Chains" and as a Consultant for Red Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay) and for CADEP (Paraguay). Her main research interests are in the fields of International Economics, Development Economics, Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconometrics. Her works primarily focus on the consequences of trade, migration and FDI on firms, workers and the geography of production and have been published in several refereed journals, such as the Economic Journal, Journal of Development Economics and Journal of Economic Geography.
