Aiman Soliman is a Research Scientist at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States. His research is focused on studying urban environments through the lens of Spatial Big Data. His work is motivated by questions about the feedback between socioeconomic factors and the spatial arrangements of urban environments at different scales and how the interactions between urban form and human activity patterns give rise to several emerging complex dynamics.
