Adnan Maalaoui
Professor of Entrepreneurship, Mohammed Bin Salman College for Business and Entrepreneurship
Dr. Adnan Maalaoui is a professor of entrepreneurship at Mohammed Bin Salman College for Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC). He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship from IAE Toulon in France. Prior to joining MBSC, Dr. Adnan served as a professor of entrepreneurship and held various leadership roles, including Head of the Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Management, Vice Dean for Faculty and Research, and Director of the Entrepreneurship Center. During his career, he secured over 6 million euros in funding for more than 20 International projects. Dr. Adnan has developed various entrepreneurial education tools, including MOOCs on business planning, crowdfunding, and entrepreneurial mindset, as well as social crowdfunding initiatives with students and a virtual incubator. His research, which focuses on entrepreneurship and disadvantaged entrepreneurs—such as the elderly, disabled, and refugees—has been published in leading journals. He is the author of over 60 articles in academic journals and has also contributed to professional journals and edited volumes on topics like digital entrepreneurship, senior entrepreneurship, and minority entrepreneurship. Additionally, Dr. Adnan serves as an associate editor and reviewer for several academic journals.
