Adla Ragab is a Professor of Economics and Director of Center for Economic and Financial Research and Studies and Coordinator of Migration Research Unit at Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. Nominated First Vice Minister of Tourism 2017- 2018 after being Economic Advisor to Ministers of Tourism since 2006. She was Chairperson of Misr Travel in July 2019, and Vice Dean for Community Services and Environment Development Faculty of Economics and Political Science FEPS Cairo University during 2010-2012. She was also Coordinator of English section at FEPS, Leader of Entrepreneurship Program for Youth and Coordinator of Economics in EUROMED Program. She is Director of Economics and Political Science Committee at Higher Council of Culture and also member of Economics & Political Science committee at Higher Council of Universities, and Council of Culture and Knowledge at Academy of Scientific Research& Technology in addition to her membership of Tourism and Antiquities Fund. Expert in Transport Economics and Tourism she has several publications specialized in Railways, Aviation, Investment, and Tourism Statistics. She participated in the preparation of Tourism Strategic Sustainable plan in Egypt 2020 and worked as the team leader of the revision of Egypt’s Vision 2030. She graduated from a French school and obtained her BSC in Economics, Master and PhD degrees from Cairo University.
