Dr. Majid Al-Moneef is the Secretary General of the Supreme Committee on Hydrocarbon Affairs (SCHA), the Chairman of the Association for Energy Economics in Saudi Arabia and a member of the Board of Directors of Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Performance Measurement (Adaa) He was the chairman of the International Advisory Group of King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) and the Secretary General of the Supreme Economic Council of Saudi Arabia and its Governor to OPEC and the president of the Saudi Economic Association. ALMONEEF was a member of the Shura Council in Saudi Arabia, Aramco Board of Directors, and the officers council of the International Association of Energy Economics( IAEE). He was a lead author of the Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) second and third Assessment Reports, and a professor of economics and vice Dean at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia.
