Kahina Mellab is a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Research in Applied Economics for Development (CREAD), Algeria. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Statistics from the National Higher School of Statistics and Applied Economics (ENSSEA). Her research focuses on economic complexity, structural transformation, economic diversification, industrial development, international trade, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). She has contributed to several national and international research projects and published in peer-reviewed journals on sustainable development, industrial policy, and economic transformation. She has also taught statistics, econometrics, and international trade at several higher education institutions in Algeria. She is committed to interdisciplinary research and international academic collaboration, with a particular interest in evidence-based policymaking that supports inclusive and sustainable economic development in developing and emerging economies.
