Halil Aydin
Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, Batman University, Türkiye
Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Aydın is a full-time Professor of Economics and Head of Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Batman University. His research areas include macroeconomics, economic development and growth, regional development, social capital, and economic policy. In addition to teaching and research activities, he held academic and administrative positions within the university, including Head of Department, Vice Dean, Institute Vice Director, Quality Coordinator, and Senate Member. As part of the Erasmus mobility program, I was at Spiru Haret University in Bucharest in 2014 and at Constantin Brancusi University in 2023. He has authored over hundred national and international articles, books, book chapters, and projects related to his field. Prof. Dr. Aydın aims to make a social contribution by combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. In this context, he served as a manager, researcher and trainer in numerous research projects supported by the public and private sectors. In addition, since 2018, he has also served as the editor-in-chief of the “International Journal of Economics, Politics, Humanities & Social Sciences – IJEPHSS”.
