Asiye Aydilek

Asiye Aydilek is an Associate Professor in the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Abdullah AlSalem University, Kuwait. She earned her B.S. in Computer Engineering and M.A. in Economics from Boğaziçi University, Türkiye. She subsequently received an M.S. in Mathematical Finance and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California (USC), where she was awarded the USC College Graduate Merit Award, which included a two-year fellowship and a three-year teaching assistantship with an additional stipend. She ranked among the top 0.1% of students in Türkiye's national university entrance examination and was selected to the Turkish National Mathematics Olympiad Team. Her research interests include modeling and simulation, production and operational efficiency, and Islamic finance. She has published numerous articles in leading international journals ranked in the Q1 and Q2 quartiles and indexed in Scopus and the Web of Science. She has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, finance, and business and has supervised numerous master's theses.
