Md. Qamruzzaman is a Professor of Finance at United International University and a recognized member of Stanford University’s global ranking of the world’s top 2% scientists for 2023, 2024, and 2025. His research spans financial innovation, green finance, energy economics, and sustainable growth. His studies focus on how financial systems, technology, and environmental factors interact to influence macroeconomic stability. He has published over 180 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. His Google Scholar profile shows more than 6,000 citations and an h-index of 43. His research uses dynamic panel models, ARDL cointegration, NARDL, system-GMM, and nonlinear causality methods. He applies these tools to investigate issues in financial development, digital finance, renewable energy financing, environmental performance, and institutional quality. He has published in Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Frontiers in Psychology, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research, among others. His collaborative work includes authors from ASEAN, OECD, South Asia, and the Middle East. He also leads the Institute of Business and Economic Research at UIU and supervises doctoral research in applied finance and econometrics. Dr. Qamruzzaman contributes as an editorial board member and reviewer for several indexed journals. He has also led research funded by international agencies, including the Asian Development Bank. His academic work supports evidence-based policy and practical solutions in financial innovation and environmental transition.
