Abbas El Akari

Abbas El Akari is a 2nd-year PhD candidate in economics at the Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech, Morocco. His main research looks into socioeconomic and academic segregation in schools, along with the impact evaluation of educational policies. Before this, he worked as a research associate with J-PAL MENA for two years, working on evaluating the impact of soft skills training on employment outcomes. He holds a master's degree in Economics from the Aix-Marseille School of Economics.
