Omar Khashaba

Omar Khashaba is a General Partner at Algebra Ventures, one of the Middle East’s leading venture capital firms with over $150 million under management. He plays a key role in shaping the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio across its second $100 million fund, backing transformative technology companies driving innovation across the region. Since joining Algebra in 2018, Omar has been instrumental in scaling the firm’s platform and supporting some of Egypt and the region’s most successful startups from early growth to exit. Before Algebra, Omar held leadership roles in the digital health and education sectors, including as founder and CEO of the edtech startup Tutorama and in an executive capacity at Yodawy, a pioneering healthtech company. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the London School of Economics and a Master of Laws from Cornell University.
