Cansu Bahçeci is a research assistant with a Ph.D. in the Department of Econometrics at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. She earned dual bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Econometrics through a double major program. During her master's studies in Econometrics at Çukurova University, she served as a TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) scholar. She completed her Ph.D. in Econometrics at Dokuz Eylül University and obtained the title of Doctor. As of 2025, she is working as a researcher/expert in the TÜBİTAK-funded project (No. 323K521) titled "The Impact of Parental Education on Child Welfare Indicators in Turkey: An Analysis of the 1997 Compulsory Education Policy Using the Regression Discontinuity Method." Her research interests include welfare economics, gender studies, education, and the evaluation of public policies.
