Maria Selin

Head of Regional Development Programme, Embassy of Sweden, Amman Jordan

Maria Selin has a Masters Degree in social sciences and a degree in journalism. Most of her career has been dedicated to development and she has held numerous managerial positions at Sida Headquarters and at Swedish Embassies in Africa and Asia. Maria Selin was previously heading the office of Sida´s Director General in Stockholm, Sweden, as Chief of Staff. Since September 2021 Ms Selin is heading the Regional Development Cooperation for MENA at the Embassy of Sweden in Amman, Jordan.
