
Sawsan Abdul-Jalil

Sawsan Abdul-Jalil is a Ph.D. researcher at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, and a lecturer in economics at the University of Khartoum, Sudan. She is an economist specializing in development economics and agricultural economics, with a particular focus on economy-wide modeling of ecosystem services in Jordan’s rangelands. Sawsan has also worked on development projects in Sudan, Germany, and Ghana. She has served as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Sudanese Ministry of Finance, and the World Bank, contributing to policy research and development projects. In addition to her academic and professional work, she is the founder of the Sudanese Women Economists Association.
