Maryse Louis

FEMISE, General Manager

Dr. Maryse Louis is the General Manager of FEMISE network since 2014, an EU-Mediterranean Network that gathers more than 100 members' institutes from the north and south of the Mediterranean with the aim to reinforce dialogues between EU-Med stakeholders in priority issues through providing platforms for dialogue, policy oriented research and reach-out and communication strategies. Dr. Louis holds a PhD in economics from Aix Marseille University (AMU) in France and an MA in Economic Development from the Faculty of Economics & Political Sciences (FEPS) in Cairo University. Her research interests covers issues of economic development with a focus on innovation and knowledge, entrepreneurship, inclusion, migration and refugees and labour markets.
